... Sherika contacted me today for the first time in a while, and it reminded me of how Spain and Mexico were everything I'd expected ... now she's teaching English near Seoul with a program similar to one that I considered before finding my first job after graduation ... at this point, I'm totally sold on living outside the US if I can find a comfortable and reasonably independent arrangement ... I'm only a week from Europe, and the more I think about it, the more I will dread having to return home after my travels this summer ...

... ever since those first trips on my own to Philadelphia and Baltmore in the '90's, I've been looking for ways to travel when- and however possible ... in fact, access to travel was a huge factor in my return to school ... I can't put off a full-time career and parenthood [not to mention homeownership ... farewell, TWELVE Centennial Park ... we barely knew ye :'( ] forever, but my wanderlust is in overdrive lately ...

... I'll spend the next year actually saving money so I can pay the rest of my undergrad loans, fund law and business school, and pull off some insane excursions short of actually moving away after graduation ...

I'm not running away from anything ...
... I'm running towards something new!
